If you signed up using your email address, you can change your password by following these steps. If you’re using your Facebook or Google account to log in and would like to change your password, you will need to sign in to those sites to change it.
How to change your password
- Log in using your email.
- Tap

in the top right.
- Next to Password, tap Edit.
- Enter your existing password.
- Tap New Password and enter your new password.
- Tap New Password (again) and re-enter your new password.
- Tap Submit.
- Click your account icon in the top right corner.
- Click Account settings.
- Click Password.
- Type in your current password, then type in your new password twice to confirm.
- Click Submit.
Forgot your password?
Select Forgot your password? and enter your email address. We will send a link to reset your password to your email.
NOTE
If you don't have access to the email address associated with your OfferUp account, please contact your email provider to regain access. OfferUp can't restore access to an account or change an email address if proof of ownership is not established.
Password expired?
If you are unable to log in to your account after repeated attempts, your password could be expired. You will need to change your password by tapping Forgot your password? on the Sign up / Log in screen. Once you’ve tapped Forgot your password? you will receive an email with steps to reset it.
