If you signed up using your email address, you can change your password by following these steps. If you’re using your Facebook or Google account to log in and would like to change your password, you will need to sign in to those sites to change it.
How to change your password
- Open the OfferUp app and log in using your email and current password.
- On the Home page, tap Account.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Tap Edit next to the Password option.
- In the applicable fields, enter your current password and your new password.
- Re-enter your new password to confirm, then tap Submit.
- Visit OfferUp.com and log in using your email and current password.
- On the Home page, click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
- Click Edit next to the Password option.
- In the applicable fields, enter your current password and your new password.
- Re-enter your new password to confirm, then click Submit.
Forgot your password
Select Forgot your password? and enter your email address. We will send a link to reset your password to your email.
Note
If you don't have access to the email address associated with your OfferUp account, please contact your email provider to regain access. OfferUp can't restore access to an account or change an email address if proof of ownership is not established.
Password expired
If you're unable to log in to your account after repeated attempts, your password could be expired. You will need to change your password by tapping Forgot your password? on the Sign up / Log in screen. Once you’ve tapped Forgot your password? you will receive an email with steps to reset it.
