How it works
If you’re a business looking to fill an open position, try posting it on OfferUp. Our dedicated Jobs feed allows job seekers to find your listing and start the application process. Let us help you find your next new hire!

FAQs
- Open the app and log in to your account.
- Tap
Jobs, then tap Post a Job.
- Enter your job details, then tap Next.
- Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then tap Confirm Purchase.
- Select your payment method, then tap Buy.
Your listing will be live in the jobs feed within a few hours. If you experience any issues while posting a job, please contact us for assistance.
- Visit OfferUp.com and log in to your account.
- Click
Post a Job
- Enter your job details, then click Next.
- Preview your listing and correct any errors, then click OK.
- Select your Payment Method, agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Confirm Purchase.
Your listing will be live in the jobs feed within a few hours. If you experience any issues while posting a job, please contact us for assistance.
The following information is required to create a job listing:
- Job location (5-digit zip code)
- Job title
- Job description
- Job category or industry
- Employment type (part-time, full-time, or gig)
- Company name
- Apply method (website, email, or phone)
You may provide additional details in the optional fields.
When you create your job listing, you’ll decide how you want job applicants to apply by selecting from the following options:
- Website
- Phone
Based on your selection, you’ll need to provide a web address, email, or phone number to direct applicants to start the application process. To change the apply method, visit your My Jobs page and edit the listing.
Note
All communication between job applicants and employers occurs outside of OfferUp. Applicants and employers cannot chat through OfferUp’s messaging system.
Note
OfferUp cannot provide data on how many candidates apply to your jobs since all applications occur via third-party websites, phone, or email.
To submit a refund request:
- Select the Contact Us button below.
- Choose My Account.
- From the Reason dropdown, choose Disputing Item Removal.
- Complete the required fields, then select Submit.
If your listing was removed because it violated our Prohibited Jobs Guidelines or Community Guidelines, we cannot offer a refund.
