Understanding Your Service Performance

Use Insights to understand how your services are performing on OfferUp. You can track views, customer interactions, and overall engagement to see what’s working and where you can improve.

Track your service performance

Make more informed decisions and grow your business with Performance Insights. This tool provides data about your service listings, customer interactions, and engagement over a rolling 30-day period.

Access your insights

  1. Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
  2. Tap Listings in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. In Listings, then filter by Services.
  4. Review the performance summary at the top of the page.
  5. Tap Insights to view detailed charts for each metric.

Understand your insights

Insights show how your service listings are performing over time. Each chart displays daily metrics for the last 30 days.

Note

Data updates several times a day. Tap the tooltip (i) icon to see when the data was last refreshed.

Metric definitions

Use the definitions below to understand each metric:

  • Posts: The number of services that were active within the last 30 days.
  • Views: The total number of times your Service Detail pages were viewed, including repeat visits.
  • Chats: The number of new conversations started by customers. Only the first message from each customer is counted. Replies in existing conversations are not included.
  • Calls: If direct calling is enabled, this tracks how many times customers tapped the Call button on your listing.
    • Note: This metric reflects when a customer taps the Call button. This does not confirm whether the call was completed or answered.

View overall performance

The main Insights dashboard shows combined performance across all your active service listings. Use this view to understand the overall reach and engagement of your business on OfferUp.
