How it works
If you’re a service provider who’s looking to connect with local customers, post your service on OfferUp. Our dedicated feed allows customers to find you, ask questions, get quotes, and schedule services fast.

The following information is required to create a service listing.
Service location or area (5-digit zip code)
Your listing will appear in search results within a 20-mile radius of the zip code you enter.
Tip: Use the map to see exactly which neighborhoods you’ll cover. Enter the zip code for the area where you do the most business to make the most of your 20-mile reach.
Service category
Select the main category and relevant subcategories that your service falls under.
Profile Picture/Logo
Your account profile picture will appear by default on your listing. If you add a new picture to your listing, it will replace your current profile picture.
Tip: Use a high-quality logo or a clear, professional photo of your face. This helps customers feel they can recognize and trust you, making them more likely to hire your services.
Your business name
Use the name you operate under professionally. This name is what customers will see and use when searching for your services.
An introduction
Write a brief introduction that highlights the benefits to customers—such as “Fast, reliable service, guaranteed to be on time”—rather than just listing your skills.
Tip: If you carry insurance or a professional license, be sure to mention it here. It helps build immediate trust with potential clients.
The following fields are optional, but we recommend completing them. Listings with more detail are more appealing to potential clients and tend to receive higher engagement.
Pricing details
Add information about how you charge for your services. Pricing is an important factor in a customer’s hiring decision, so clearly share your rates—hourly, flat fee, or custom quote upon request—to build trust with potential clients.
Project images
Upload up to 10 photos to showcase your completed work.
Tip: Highlight your work with before-and-after photos or images showing your professional tools and materials. This helps build trust and confidence with potential customers.
Google Reviews
Link your Google Business Profile to showcase your five most recent reviews. This helps highlight your service quality and builds customer confidence.
Year Founded
Adding the year your business was founded is an easy way to show your experience and demonstrate longevity to potential clients.
How to post a service
- Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
- Tap Services, then tap Post a Service.
- Enter your service details, then tap Next.
- If you’re TruYou verified, you’ll proceed to reviewing your listing.
- If you’re not TruYou verified, you’ll proceed to the TruYou verification process. This is a one-time verification for safety purposes.
- On the Preview page, make sure your listing details are correct, then tap Next.
- On the payment screen, review your payment details, then tap Confirm Subscription.
- Select your app store payment method, then tap Buy.
Your listing will be submitted for a quick review to ensure it meets our services guidelines. It may take up to 1 hour for your listing to be live.

You can connect your Google Business Profile to import up to five of your most recent reviews to display on your listing. To import your reviews, go to the Post a Service page, tap Connect With Google, then follow the prompts.
Note: You cannot choose what reviews get posted. We take the five most recent reviews from your business profile, regardless of star rating. Imported reviews may take up to 24 hours to appear on your OfferUp profile.
To help keep our platform safe, we require all service providers to pass a TruYou verification screening. This one-time identity verification is quick and secure. To learn more, see TruYou verification program.
When you post your first service listing, you'll be enrolled in a Services subscription . This subscription includes one listing to showcase one type of service on OfferUp continuously.
Your listing stays active in the feed and automatically renews every month so it’s easy to manage. Your listing will never expire until you cancel your subscription .
If you want to post more than one type of service, you can purchase additional listings for $75 each. These extra listings are separate from your main monthly subscription, so they expire after 30 days and do not auto renew.
No. It may take up to 1 hour for your listing to post due to our review process, which helps detect and prevent scams on our platform. All listings must meet our service guidelines to be posted. If your listing doesn’t meet our guidelines, we'll notify you by email.
Tip: You can keep an eye on the status of your listing by going to Listings and filtering by Services. Your listing will show Pending while it’s under review, and Active when it’s posted to the feed.
Your one Services subscription listing will stay active in the feed until you choose to cancel your subscription.
Any additional service listings that you purchase stay active for 30 days from the posting date. When they expire, they're removed from the live feed.
