When browsing dealer vehicle listings, you can use the built-in payment calculator to get an estimate of what your monthly payment might look like. Here’s how to find it and how to use it.
Finding the payment calculator
The payment calculator is available on dealer vehicle listings. You can find it in two places:
- Next to the vehicle price. You’ll see an estimated monthly payment (e.g., $237/mo est*).
- Under the Est. Monthly Payment section, further down the listing page.
Select either option to open the calculator.
Using the payment calculator
Once on the payment calculator screen, you can adjust the following fields to estimate your monthly payment:
- Vehicle price: Pre-filled with the seller’s listing price. You can update it if needed.
- Cash down: The amount you plan to pay upfront at the time of purchase. Defaults to $0.
- Interest rate: The annual interest rate (APR) used to calculate your payment. Defaults to 11.25%.
- Loan term: The length of the loan in months. Choose from 24, 36, 48, 60, or 72 months. Defaults to 60 months.
Any changes you make to the cash down, interest rate, and loan term are saved and will carry over as you browse other vehicle listings.
