When you consistently respond to messages, you can earn a Reply Rate badge on your public profile. This badge shows others that you’re likely to reply to their questions, helping you build trust and a good reputation on OfferUp.
Qualify for the badge
To qualify for the Reply Rate badge, you must meet both of these requirements:
- Message at least 4 different people using OfferUp messaging.
- Reply to at least 75% of the first messages you receive from each person.
Keep the badge
Once you've earned the badge, your rate is updated automatically based on your activity over the past 120 days. Your rate can increase above 75% depending on your activity.
If you no longer meet the requirements—such as dropping below 4 active conversations in the last 120 days—the badge will be removed from your profile. You can regain the badge at any time by meeting the requirements again.
Reply rate scores
Your actual reply rate score can be higher than the percentage shown on your badge and may fall within these ranges:
