How it works
With the Rentals feature in our mobile app, you can browse local listings for available apartments near you. Each listing includes detailed floor plans, photos, and property information. See one you like? Contact the leasing agent directly from the app. It’s fast, simple, and designed to make finding your next home effortless.

We're continuously testing and introducing new features in the app. As a result, some users may have access to certain features before others. If you don’t see this feature, then it hasn't been made available to you yet.
FAQs
- Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
- On the Home page, tap the
Rentals icon in the top navigation bar. You may need to scroll right to access the icon.
- On the Rentals feed, browse the available listings or enter a neighborhood, city, address, or zip code into the search bar to find new results.
- Tap any listing to view details about the rental.
Note
The Rentals feed is only available in our mobile app and cannot be accessed on OfferUp.com. If you don’t see the Rentals icon in the app, try updating to the latest app version.
Use the filters at the top of your search results feed to narrow down your results. Filter options include:
- Price - Minimum or Maximum
- Number of Beds - Minimum or Maximum
- Number of Baths - Minimum or Maximum
- Availability - Filter by Available Now, Next 7 Days, Next 30 Days, or Next 60 Days
No, saving or sharing rental listings is not available at this time.
To contact a leasing agent:
- At the bottom of the listing page, tap the Contact Agent button.
- On the Contact Agent form, enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email. Optional: If desired, enter a brief Message.
- Tap Contact Agent to submit the form.
The leasing agent will reach out to you shortly via email. Please note, all communication will occur outside of the OfferUp app.
Please contact the leasing agent for instructions on how to submit an application. To get started, tap the Contact Agent button at the bottom of the listing and complete the form.
All communication about rental applications occurs outside of OfferUp. For assistance with a rental application, please reach out to the rental property directly using the contact information provided in their initial email response.
At this time, you cannot post rentals on OfferUp. All listings in the Rentals feed are currently provided by our third-party partner Apartment List. However, if you’re interested in advertising your rentals on OfferUp when this feature becomes available, please complete our Interest Form and we’ll be in touch.
