You may notice that OfferUp now supports Pro Sellers. A Pro Seller has the ability to sell a large quantity of products and fulfill more orders efficiently. When shopping in the OfferUp app, you’ll see that Pro Sellers have a Verified Pro Seller title under their business name.
Why can’t I chat with a Pro Seller?
When browsing through products listed by Pro Sellers and clicking on them, you will notice that you no longer have the ability to message these sellers. Instead, you will have the option to click Buy Now and purchase the item through shipping. Pro Sellers have the ability to set a fixed price for each of their products to provide a quicker checkout process for multiple shoppers. This means that the Ask Now and Make Offer buttons will not be available for items from Pro Sellers.
If you would like to contact a Pro Seller and ask them questions about their products, you can email them directly by navigating to their OfferUp profile in the app and tapping Contact seller under their name.
Each purchase from a Pro Seller is backed with 30-day protection. If you notice something wrong with your purchased item within that 30-day period, you can always request a refund.
