The wrong item was shipped

If the wrong item was shipped using the OfferUp system, we can help buyers and sellers get things straightened out. Please reach out to us by selecting the Contact Us button below. On the contact form, select Submit a 2-Day Purchase Protection Claim to direct your claim appropriately. 

You'll need to provide your transaction ID number with your claim. This number is located on your on your receipt. We use it to look up details about your purchase.

To locate your transaction ID number, complete the following steps: 

  1. Log in to your OfferUp account. 
  2. On the Home page, select your profile photo Account icon to access your account options. 
  3. Select Purchases & Sales, then Transactions.
  4. Select the receipt for the item you have questions about.
  5. Scroll to Payment info for the Transaction number.
