To purchase items that will be shipped to you, you’ll need to set up a payment method in the OfferUp mobile app or on the web using one of our accepted forms of payment.
Add a payment method
- Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
- Tap Account > Payment & Deposit Methods.
- Under Payment Methods, tap Add Credit / Debit Card.
- Enter your credit or debit card information and your billing zip code, then tap Save.
You can add multiple credit or debit cards to your account, then use the Set as Default button to make one your primary payment method.
- Visit OfferUp.com and log in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture to access your Account options, then select Purchases & Sales from the dropdown menu.
- From the left menu, click Payment & Deposit Methods.
- Under Payment Methods, click Add Credit / Debit Card.
- In the Add Card pop-up, enter your credit or debit card information and your billing zip code, then tap Save.
Delete a payment method
While you cannot edit a payment method, you can delete one. Just know that this is a permanent action that can’t be undone.
- Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
- Tap Account > Payment & Deposit Methods.
- Under Payment Methods, locate the card you wish to delete, then tap Manage > Delete.
- On the Delete Payment Method popup, tap Delete.
