Find local yard sales
Browse the Local Events feed to discover garage, yard, estate, and moving sales near you.
To access the Local Events feed:

- Open the OfferUp app and log in to your account.
- On the Home page, tap the Local Events icon in the top navigation menu.
- From the feed, browse all current and upcoming event listings.
Listings are posted by OfferUp users and include the date, time, and location of each sale. Have questions? Tap the Ask button to message the seller directly about an event.
Need to search in a different area? Tap theLocation icon at the top of the feed, enter your new search location, and choose a search distance.
Find events in your community *Beta*
Browse the Other Events feed under Local Events to find free and paid activities for all ages, such as:
- Art and cultural events
- Craft fairs and holiday markets
- Museum exhibitions
- Concerts and live performances
Note
This feature is currently in beta on our mobile app and may not yet be available in your area. If you don’t see the Other Events tab under Local Events, it’s not yet available for you. We’re working to roll this out nationwide and appreciate your patience!
To access the Other Events feed:

- Tap Other Events at the top of the page to browse all current and upcoming event listings.
Get tickets
Listings provide event details, including description, date, time, location, and ticket price (if applicable). To buy tickets, tap Get Tickets. Tickets are processed through third-party websites. OfferUp does not handle ticket sales.
Add events to your calendar
Planning to attend a community event? Tap Add to Calendar to save the event to your mobile calendar. To use this feature, you’ll need to grant OfferUp access to add items to your calendar. OfferUp will not be able to read or edit your calendar.
